How do Hop Credits work?

Each product lookup uses 1 Hop Credit. You start with 10 free credits after completing onboarding. If no prices are found for your product, your credit is automatically refunded.

Why is my lookup taking a long time?

Product lookups typically take 10-30 seconds depending on the product complexity and number of countries being searched. You can enable push notifications to be alerted when your results are ready.

Why wasn't my product found?

Our AI works best with clear photos of products with visible branding. Try taking a clearer photo or typing the product name directly. Some very new or rare products may not be available in all countries.

Are the prices accurate?

Prices are fetched from official retail websites and are current at the time of lookup. However, prices can change frequently, and some may not include taxes or shipping. Always verify the price on the retailer's website before purchasing.

How do I restore my purchases?

Go to the Hop Credits screen and tap "Restore Purchases" at the bottom. Your credits are also synced across your devices via iCloud.

How do I delete my search history?

Go to the History tab and tap "Clear All" to delete all your search history. This data is stored only on your device.

What countries are supported?

PriceHop supports price comparisons across many countries including USA, Japan, Hong Kong, UK, Germany, France, Italy, Australia, Singapore, South Korea, and more. You can configure your target countries in Settings.

Is my data private?

Yes! We don't track you or collect analytics. Your search history is stored only on your device. Product photos are processed for identification but are not stored permanently. Read our Privacy Policy for details.
