Mai Ventures ("we," "our," or "us") operates the PriceHop mobile application (the "App"). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use our App.

1. Information We Collect

1.1 Product Images

When you use the "Hop" feature, you may take or select photos of products. These images are:

• Sent to our AI service for product identification
• Processed to find pricing information
• Not permanently stored on our servers
• Not linked to your identity

1.2 Device Identifiers

We collect a Firebase Cloud Messaging (FCM) token to send push notifications when your product lookup completes. This token is not used for tracking or advertising.

1.3 Purchase Information

When you purchase Hop Credits, transactions are processed by Apple and RevenueCat. We receive anonymous purchase confirmation and do not have access to your payment details.

1.4 Local Data

The following data is stored locally on your device only and is never transmitted to our servers:

• Search history (up to 50 recent lookups)
• Currency preferences
• App settings
• Cached product images

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the collected information to:

• Identify products from photos you provide
• Find and compare prices across different countries
• Deliver push notifications for completed lookups
• Process in-app purchases
• Sync your credits across your devices via iCloud

3. Third-Party Services

Our App uses the following third-party services:

• Firebase (Google): Cloud functions for product lookup, push notifications. Privacy Policy
• RevenueCat: In-app purchase management. Privacy Policy
• Apple Services: iCloud for syncing credits, StoreKit for in-app purchases.

4. Data We Do NOT Collect

We do not collect:

• Your name, email, or contact information
• Location data
• Browsing history
• Analytics or usage statistics
• Advertising identifiers

5. Data Security

We implement appropriate security measures to protect your information:

• All network communications use HTTPS encryption
• Sensitive data (credits) stored in iOS Keychain
• Firebase App Check validates all API requests
• No user accounts or passwords required

6. Data Retention

• Product images: Processed immediately, not stored permanently
• FCM tokens: Retained while you use the App
• Local data: Stored until you delete the App or clear history
• iCloud data: Synced according to your iCloud settings

7. Your Rights

You can:

• Delete search history: Clear all history from the Settings screen
• Disable notifications: Manage in iOS Settings
• Delete all data: Uninstall the App to remove all local data
• Request information: Contact us to inquire about your data

8. Children's Privacy

Our App does not knowingly collect information from children under 13. The App is rated 4+ and contains no inappropriate content.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page and updating the "Last Updated" date.
